InterestingTalks – Andy Gibney (Punk Talk -The Practical Reply to The Secret) [1 MP4]

“Punk Talk” – the practical reply to the Secret
Duration: 01:31:57

What will you get from this talk?

A stripped down, rocking, interactive talk that explains the basics of living at a high level. What do world champions do that makes them world champions? What is the disease of the poor (whatever your definition is of it)? How do you drag yourself from your lowest points to your highest highs? Why the best way to become prolific and creative is to go into debt If that wasn’t enough you’ll see Jedi Mind Tricks and one lucky person will have an experience they will NEVER forget!

Andy Gibney

Long ago, in a time far, far away Andy Gibney became a Jedi. Not in the normal George Lucas-Yoda sort of way, but in real life. In 1981 he undertook the first stages in his physical training, beginning with Karate. In 1987 he started his journey in Jeet Kune Do (the martial art developed by Bruce Lee) – he is now one of the most respected teachers of this system in the UK. For 6 years in the 1990’s he competed in the sport of stick-fighting winning 2 world championship silver medals and became British champion. In 2001 he was the world championship winning coach of the British Team; the same thing that Clive Woodward did with rugby.  He has also been inducted into the Hall of Fame in the US and the Philippines (the home of stick-fighting).

Here the story takes a twist. After training the body for so long Andy went in search of psychology to improve his performance in all avenues. He trained with the best: Bandler, McKenna and Robbins as well as many others. He learned how to tell if a person is lying, he learned about the subconscious, body language and how to cure any phobia in under an hour. This Jedi’s powers grew.

Do Jedi’s really exist? Or are they as mythical as Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy? To know the answer to that one you are going to have to show up!

InterestingTalks – Andrew Austin (The Psychology of Business Language & Communication)

The Psychology of Business Language & Communication
Duration: 01:41:40

This talk is all about metaphors in business, marketing and money. Anyone who is interesting in psychology, hypnosis, business and therapy, this is a must attend!!!

This video shows Andrew talking about metaphors in business. He will be presenting different content at Interesting Talks to what is in this video.
Youtube – Metaphors of Movement

Many people don’t give sufficient consideration to the metaphors they use in their marketing.  For example, last year I saw an advertisement for an NLP course that promised to help you “break free from the obstacles in your path.”  Whilst this might just be sloppy copy writing, a good understanding of metaphors will enable you to detect deliberate deceptions in other people’s marketing claims.  The same understanding will also help you become more congruent in your own business dealings.

In this talk, Andrew T. Austin will be applying his experience with Metaphors of Movement to the world of business, money and marketing and will introduce you to the possibilities of forensic examination of business communication.  Austin will demonstrates how it is possible to take the tiniest piece of information and extrapolate a huge amount of relevant data without having to ask questions.

Andrew T Austin

Formerly a registered nurse working in clinical neurology and neurosurgery, Andrew began his nursing career in Accident and Emergency. Working in A&E he quickly developed a strong reputation for working with the many psychiatric and mental health related emergencies that were frequently presented to the department.

It was during this period in 1994 that he began training in hypnosis and therapy at the Royal Masonic Hospital in London and his interest in psychotherapy and neurolinguistics grew. Andrew is the founding designer and trainer of Integral Eye Movement Therapy IEMT, and Metaphors of Movement

InterestingTalks – Andrew Austin (Shouting at The Deaf Metaphor Structure and Therapeautic Intervention)

Shouting at The Deaf Metaphor Structure and Therapeautic Intervention
Duration: 01:34:30

NLP practitioners are usually very good at matching sensory modalities, Master Practitioners are very good at pacing modalities and leading into sensory overlap.  NLP trainers, one would hope, are able to pace, lead and overlap submodalities.  However, how many NLPers are able to pace and lead the logical structure of their clients reasoning and problem solving ability?

All the information is there, we just have to know how and what to listen for.  So often it gets missed.  The client expresses it perfectly, but no one hears.  They might as well be shouting at the deaf.

In this introduction to his body of work entitled, Metaphors of Movement, Andrew T. Austin will demonstrate how to hear the exact structure of the client’s problem and how to design a specific and exact intervention that doesn’t rely on a set routine of applied techniques in the hope that one will work.

Adam tackles the issues of physical fitness, diet & nutrition head on with a multi layer approach involving: mind-set; energy levels; physical fitness; and willpower/determination.

Interesting Talks – Adam Eason (Real Life Self Hypnosis)
Real Life Self-Hypnosis
Duration 01:21:05

Talk copy: So how about I show you that if you paid attention during this presentation, by the end of it you could very easily use your mind to induce a robust analgesia in your arm or mouth? Well, that is the challenge I set myself for this event.

You’ll learn what self-hypnosis is and why some people do not think it can exist, I mean, hypnosis is something done by one person to another, right? We’ll put it into some historical context too, which doesn’t sound too sexy, but I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

I’m going to demonstrate a protocol that I have taught for 15 years that enables everyone and anyone to pick up, run with and apply self-hypnosis with much gain right away.
We’ll get serious about the subject matter, but not that serious. After all, I am the man who taught self-hypnosis to the masses in a ‘Tripnosis’ tent at the Glastonbury festival for gaining natural highs. I’ll show you some of that stuff too.

Self-hypnosis helped me overcome a chronic skin disorder, get intoxicated on water, avoid jet lag when travelling and a load of other applications that many deem the territory of fantasy yet are simple realities with the correct application. Clients and students of mine have had teeth removed using only self-hypnosis instead of anaesthesia and I’ll show you how that is done.

Importantly, you’ll learn an effective way to develop intimacy with yourself and how to really utilise more of your own resources.
Basically, you’ll be the Hypnotist of you once I’m done speaking.
We’ll have some fun too…. And there’ll be some daring demonstration… All packed into 90 minutes.

About Adam Eason

When it’s me writing the bio, I may as well speak in the first person tense, right?

I am an utter hypnosis geek. Having been in professional practice as a hypnotherapist since the 1990s, I’ve seen several thousand clients benefit from hypnotherapy. I’ve written books on hypnosis, translated into several languages, had a couple of bestsellers and a flop or two along the way. I run a very busy and thriving hypnotherapy training school on the South Coast. My hypnosis audio materials sell globally and are the cornerstone of my business.

When I am not geeking it up about all things hypnosis, I run. Mostly along the sea front where I live on the South Coast, which might sound idyllic but involves a lot of hills and hardcore winds that shove you along or make you feel like you are running on the spot when faced. In April and May this year I ran 5 marathons one after the other in consecutive weeks and attribute my successive personal best times as much to self-hypnosis as I do to the hours of running beside the beach, on tracks and up hills at all hours of the day.
