8Dio Studio Orchestral Percussion – is thoroughly sampled collection of six orchestral percussion instruments. This unique collection comprises a first-class marimba, glockenspiel, xylophone, vibrafon, krotaly and tubular bells.

All instruments were deeply sampled with an extensive set of articulations. Firstly, you have the opportunity to choose the type of hammer, which you want to play. We recorded how soft / felted hammers and solid wood, which brings very different timbres of the instrument. Second, we recorded a brush tool and bows, which makes a number of other articulations. We also recorded a tremolo tool.
But it is equally important that we recorded all the instruments of our new method Groove Sampling ™. Groove Samples allows you to play instruments so you can not use the traditional multisamples. Samples provide a completely smooth and natural sound in the percussion. We recorded Groove samples at three different tempos and multiple layers of velocity. In reality, there is nothing similar to them, and this patented method is the property of collections of samples 8Dio.
In addition, we recorded all through the plurality of microphones, with three main positions (Close, Middle & Room). Everything was handled through a custom console NEVE, giving you the best sound experience. Orchestral Percussion Studio designed with playability and ease of use. All articulations and playing styles are readily available from our built-in browser of the system and just one click.
We have also included a new two-layer FX system. The first of them – this is our external FX-system that gives you control over trans-gate, filters, pitch, delay, compression, and our new texture convolution delay. It allows you to take dozens of new package and use them as the delay components. We have also included our new engine Chaos FX, which gives you control over such things as EQ, phasing, distortion, delay and additional stereo convolution reverb.
