You may be excited about cutting-edge advances in brain research, but do you know how to translate them into practical methods that may reduce clients’ resistance, transform deeply disturbing emotions, and reinforce treatment interventions? Clients can be taught to locate hidden strengths and dissolve distress by activating their brains’ reward centers. While stitching technique for sutures is an art learned through practice, the knowledge of what happens at the cellular and molecular level in the tissues being stitched arises through science.
